We’ve had this idea of Toph, The Duke, Sokka, and Suki all hanging out together but couldn’t figure out a scenario until we remembered this fanfiction by TheDimensionOfWords.Suki knew that if the war had never happened, she would have never met the Duke. Yet here she was, sitting side by side with the man, as they watched their spouses goof off and gamble at the other side of one of the many bars popping up in Republic City.“Do you think we should stop them?” she sighed, sipping at her pint.The Duke chuckled, but shook his head. “Nah, let them have their fun.”A few moments later, the two no-good-doers pranced back over with their winnings. Sokka hugged Suki tightly from behind, grinning against her cheek, as Toph climbed up onto The Dukes lap.“You gave them the old ‘Double Trouble’, eh?” The Duke said, kissing his wife lovingly on her flushed cheek.Grinning evilly, Toph swung the loaded money bag for him and Suki to admire. “Want to go back and give them double the double trouble?” she chuckled, her slight intoxication showing through.“Yeah, come on Suki,” Sokka wheedled, kissing her jaw, then ear, knowing that she was the one who needed convincing. The Duke was still a trouble maker at heart, and plus he couldn’t say no to Toph if his life depended on it.Suki sighed again, but the mead and atmosphere, not to mention Sokka’s attentions, getting too her, she nodded with a growing grin.Sufficient to say this was the first of many bars the four were banned from.AuroraLynne is currently taking commissions.
